President: Antía Vazquez Fernandez

Antía is a Junior from Mexico City in the Huntsman Program targeting French and concentrating in Management and Operations. She is also interested in Latin American politics, French history and consumer psychology. Antia has been involved in Wharton Latino since her freshman year, first as administrative chair and then as membership chair. She is also passionate about traveling, gastronomy, art, yoga, running, and exploring new cultures.
Vice President: Marcos Cabarcos
Marcos is a junior from Panama City, Panama majoring in Systems Science and Engineering and minoring in Mathematics and Engineering Entrepreneurship. Two years ago, he was part of the Philanthropy committee, last year he was one of the Social Chairs, and now he serves as Vice President for Wharton Latino. In addition to being in the club, Marcos is part of the Psi Upsilon fraternity. Last summer, he went to a program in Cape Town called Ixperience where he took a course in Investment Management and then interned at a Venture Capital firm called Silvertree Capital. He then went back to Panama and interned at Lazard. His interests include playing golf, technology and innovation.

Latin AmeriLatin American Affairs Chair: Valentina Losada
Valentina Losada is a freshman born in Texas and raised in Bogota, Colombia. She is targeting a double major in Economics and International Relations, and a minor in Consumer Psychology. Outside Wharton Latino, Valentina is an assistant director of Academic Affairs in the International Affairs Association (IAA), and a research assistant in the Political Science department. She is passionate about literature, international politics, and really enjoys playing tennis.
Finance Chair: Bernardo Sarti
Bernardo Sarti is a Junior in the Huntsman Program, concentrating in Behavioral Economics and Business Analytics and minoring in French. Originally from Salvador, Brazil, Bernardo has been involved in Wharton Latino since his freshman year and previously served as the club's Social Chair. In addition to Wharton Latino, Bernardo is co-chair of the Wharton Alumni Relations Council, a member of the Dean's Undergraduate Advisory Board and Social Chair for Kappa Sigma Fraternity. In his free time, Bernardo enjoys ski trips, house music, fonts and European cinema.
Marketing Chair: Emiliana Santandreu
Emiliana Santandreu is a junior born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. She is currently pursuing a major in philosophy, politics, and economics, and a minor in consumer psychology. Outside of Wharton Latino, she is currently President of the Wharton Retail Club and New Member Educator of her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta. Her interests lie primarily in the foundations of Latin American politics, consumer behavior, and French history. If you don’t find her eating, she is probably singing karaoke, reading Pride and Prejudice, or at the opera (but most likely eating).
Social Co-Chair: Roberto Kern
Roberto is a freshman from Caracas, Venezuela pursuing a major in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics with a minor in Consumer Psychology. Outside of Wharton Latino, Roberto serves as Deputy Vice-President of Corporate Sponsorship for the Wharton Retail Club. Roberto's interests lie mainly in behavioral economics, value marketing, contemporary metaphysics, and European history. During his free time, you will most likely find Roberto playing golf, reading, or running.
Social Co-Chair: Paola Martorell
Paola Alexandra Martorell is a sophomore born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She is currently studying in Wharton, concentrating in Finance and Entrepreneurship and minoring in French and Fine Arts. Besides Wharton Latino, Paola is also involved in community service clubs, Wharton Women, and the Puerto Rican Undergraduate Student Association. She loves drawing, traveling, writing, and getting to know different cultures. Paola is currently abroad in Lyon, but will be joining us again in the fall.
Corporate Co-Chair: Juan Carlos Ortega
Juan Carlos is a sophomore in Wharton from Panama City. He is concentrating in Finance and Real Estate with a possible minor in Political Science. Besides being involved in Wharton Latino, Juan Carlos is a teaching assistant for Wharton 101. He is really passionate about traveling, golf and getting to meet new people.
Corporate Co-Chair: Isabel Chafey
Isabel Chafey is a Sophomore studying Business with concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship and minoring in Political Science. She is interested in photography and traveling, and she enjoys reading about history and philosophy and playing tennis. She also has a great passion for Latin American cuisine.
Philanthropy Co-Chair: Carlos Medina
Carlos is a junior from Santiago, Panama, studying Materials Science and Engineering. He has been a part of Wharton Latino since his freshman fall semester, and was part of the Philanthropy Committee throughout 2017. This year, he will continue with the community outreach efforts as the Philanthropy Chair. Besides Wharton Latino, Carlos is part of ACTION and the Composto Research Group, and enjoys trying new food places and doing Crossfit.
